This art depicts 99 profiles of faces, parts of bodies and nature. Together these elements form a face staring at the viewer. The concept is inspired by an African proverb, "If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do us no harm". Enemies exploit our weaknesses. They know our fears and insecurities and use them against us effectively. Our enemies are not the ones who exploit our weaknesses. It is the fear that they use, the insecurities we feel, that are our true enemies. But the fear and insecurity are weapons we often use against ourselves. So, how do we remove an "enemy"? First, we begin to understand ourselves - we begin to understand what makes us afraid and why it scares us. Fears and insecurities are just states of mind we haven't embraced and learned to control. Second, we must defeat the enemies within and render powerless all who would project fear.

DESCRIPTION - If there is no enemy inside, no enemy outside can ever do you harm. Fear and love cannot occupy the same space. Find thy self.
